I think a very long life is a responsibility, not a reward.

We are given time not just to achieve things, but to shape what others feel, learn, and carry forward because we were here. What matters most is not what we do, but what our presence enables in others.

A long life gives us space to refine that impact. To make fewer reactive choices, to act with more care, and to leave behind something steadier than ourselves.

If we are blessed with many years, it is so that our actions can mature into meaning.
So that others benefit, long after the moment has passed.

That, to me, is the point of living long.

Only if it’s at Jesus’ feet like the song, “The More I Seek You” – Kari Jobe 😉

@idesiretomakeadifference, that’s purposefull perspective in itself (in living a very long life). Especially now that you won’t be alone 😊…. Like in the song, “I am Not Alone,” by Kari Jobe, again 😉 …
